Accuity partners with hospitals and health systems through a technology-enabled, physician-led model that improves clinical documentation integrity, coding accuracy, reimbursement optimization, and quality outcomes.
Job Summary
The Product Manager will help define, build, and improve AI-enabled capabilities across Accuity’s clinical revenue cycle platform. This role will support the development of agentic workflows, AI-assisted decision support, automation tools, and human-in-the-loop product experiences that improve productivity, accuracy, quality, and client outcomes.
The Product Manager will work closely with the Product Team, engineering, data science, clinical operations, compliance, analytics, client success, and commercial teams to translate user needs and workflow requirements into clear product documentation and successful releases.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, highly collaborative, and excited to build practical AI products for complex healthcare workflows. This person should be able to understand how expert users work today, identify where AI can reduce friction or manual effort, and help deliver capabilities that are useful, measurable, and safe.
Responsibilities
Product Discovery and Workflow Analysis
• Support discovery for AI-enabled and agentic workflow opportunities by gathering input from users, clinical subject matter experts, operations, data science, client success, implementation, commercial teams, and other stakeholders.
• Document current-state workflows, user pain points, decision points, data inputs, manual steps, exceptions, dependencies, and handoffs.
• Identify opportunities for AI, automation, workflow orchestration, and product enhancements to reduce friction, improve efficiency, and support measurable business outcomes.
• Help define AI-assisted workflows, including recommendations, task routing, confidence indicators, user review steps, escalations, exceptions, and feedback capture.
Product Requirements and Backlog Management
• Translate workflow needs and stakeholder input into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and release documentation.
• Help maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, business impact, model readiness, data availability, technical effort, risk, and dependencies.
• Support requirements for AI model outputs, prompts or instructions, data inputs, feedback mechanisms, exception handling, and quality review workflows.
• Maintain clear documentation of workflows, assumptions, risks, dependencies, product decisions, and known limitations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Senior Product Managers, Engineering, Data Science, Design, Analytics, Clinical Operations, Compliance, Client Success, Implementation, and Commercial teams to support delivery of AI-enabled product capabilities.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, user acceptance testing, release readiness, and post-release monitoring.
• Support go-to-market, implementation, training, and client success teams with release notes, enablement content, demo support, and value messaging.
• Communicate product requirements, priorities, decisions, and tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Product Performance and Continuous Improvement
• Analyze product usage, AI performance, user feedback, operational metrics, quality assurance findings, and client outcomes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Track key performance indicators such as adoption, automation rate, recommendation acceptance, override rate, exception rate, accuracy, productivity, cycle time, and user satisfaction.
• Help build closed-loop learning mechanisms so user feedback, operational outcomes, and performance insights can improve AI workflows over time.
• Use data and stakeholder feedback to inform product decisions, prioritize enhancements, and evaluate release success.
Compliance, Quality, and Responsible AI
• Partner with Compliance, Privacy, Security, Clinical, and operational stakeholders to help ensure AI-enabled workflows are auditable, transparent, and aligned with responsible use expectations.
• Support product documentation and workflow design that reflect appropriate human review, escalation, quality control, and risk mitigation processes.
• Help identify workflow limitations, quality concerns, user trust considerations, and operational risks related to AI-enabled product capabilities.
Other Duties as Assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned to support product development, business priorities, and organizational goals.
