I lead with product strategy, design and research with empathy, engineer with precision—and bring all into harmony to build transformational, human-centered products. I design for transformation, and I can build it myself. With over 25 years of experience, I wear many hats: startup founder, human-centered product designer, GM, product manager, engineer, researcher, educator, creative problem solver, and patented co-inventor. My journey spans designing and engineering solutions that help people and organizations meet their needs—creating innovative products across industries like beauty, health and wellness, education, news, and Search; leading cross-functional teams; and crafting equitable, human-centered experiences with a recent focus on AI, commerce, and human life. I hold an MS in Human-Computer Interaction, a discipline blending formal sciences (like computer science and statistics); applied sciences (like design and engineering); UX, human-factors science and engineering; research; business and management practices (like product management and marketing); and social sciences (like psychology, sociology, and anthropology). I’ve taught design and coding at the collegiate level, and taught at the graduate level how to integrate technology and multimedia in classrooms. I also hold an MFA in Web Design & New Media, focused on physical and digital design, web development, UX and human-centered design, digital photography, graphic design, video production, drawing, motion and animation, audio production, printmaking, and art. My BS in Education focused on life sciences and chemistry, with experience teaching secondary science. My certifications in business design, innovation, Design Thinking, and Jungian Psychology—combined with experience teaching, coaching, and mentoring founders, designers, students, tech professionals, and educators—further deepen my multidisciplinary expertise. These experiences and credentials enable me to work seamlessly at the intersection of equitable, human-centered product and software design, life and human design, AI, research and innovation, business strategy, education, product development, and entrepreneurship. I’m passionate about leading 0-to-1 initiatives as well as executing tactical solutions—thriving in ambiguous and nascent spaces while also excelling in the design and development of mature products.
