This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Legal, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Program Management to ensure customer commitments remain aligned with business objectives, contractual obligations, financial considerations, and operational execution capabilities.

The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen, analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, contract management experience, and cross-functional leadership skills. This individual will support customer onboarding and new business opportunities, coordinate commercial and contract activities, analyze business impacts, track customer commitments, and provide critical visibility into risks, obligations, approvals, and operational considerations.

This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role that requires disciplined execution, sound business judgment, and the ability to bring structure to complex business challenges. Successful candidates will be strategic thinkers who enjoy working across multiple stakeholders and translating commercial, financial, contractual, and operational considerations into actionable business decisions.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a primary commercial coordination resource for customer onboarding and new business opportunities, including opportunity and proposal development, commercial and contract negotiations, prototype requests, purchase orders, NRE tracking, certifications, and contract-related activities.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, and Program Management teams to align customer commitments with company capabilities and business objectives.
  • Gather stakeholder input and coordinate commercial activities throughout the customer and contract lifecycle, ensuring timely decision-making and issue resolution.
  • Organize and prioritize commercial issues, decisions, approvals, and escalations while maintaining visibility across cross-functional teams.
  • Track contractual obligations, commitments, deliverables, amendments, renewals, milestones, approvals, and action items to ensure compliance and execution.
  • Maintain contract repositories, supporting documentation, and governance processes to ensure complete and accurate agreement records.
  • Support internal controls, audit readiness, and SOX compliance requirements through disciplined contract administration and documentation practices.
  • Analyze customer agreements and commercial opportunities to identify risks, opportunities, dependencies, financial and operational impacts, providing recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards and decision-support materials related to contract status, obligations, customer commitments, NRE recovery, approvals, and commercial metrics.
  • Promote consistent contract terms, negotiation strategies, approval workflows, governance standards, and process discipline across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Legal and business stakeholders to support contract negotiations, amendments, and interpretation of commercial terms.
  • Establish scalable processes and best practices that improve commercial governance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, commercial operations, business planning, customer programs, sales operations, supply chain management, or related disciplines within a technology, manufacturing, or engineering-focused environment.
  • Experience supporting customer onboarding, new business opportunities, proposals, commercial pursuits, or related customer development activities.
  • Strong understanding of commercial agreements, statements of work (SOWs), purchasing terms, manufacturing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and customer onboarding processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret contractual obligations and translate them into actionable business requirements for cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of financial, operational, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain considerations.
  • Experience managing complex projects and coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, evaluate trade-offs, and develop practical business recommendations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple customer programs simultaneously.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience supporting SOX controls, contract governance processes, audit requirements, or compliance initiatives is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, contract lifecycle management tools, and enterprise business systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment while influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale technology, manufacturing, hardware, cloud infrastructure, data center, or OEM customer programs.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management, contract governance, negotiations, or commercial terms and conditions.
  • Experience with commercial strategy, pricing, financial analysis, business planning, or customer-facing commercial operations.
  • MBA, PMP certification, Contract Management certification, or related professional credentials.
