Contact Centre Sales Specialist

About this role

About the Role

As a Contact Center Sales Specialist, you'll be the voice of our brand — and the engine of our revenue. This is a role for a hunter: someone who picks up the phone, leads confident conversations, uncovers customer needs, and turns them into sales. You'll connect with new and existing customers, recommend the right plans, lines, and devices, and close — all while delivering the kind of service that keeps customers coming back.

Your income here has no ceiling. If you thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and want your paycheck to reflect your results, this role was built for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively call new and existing customers to generate sales — upgrades, additional lines, and device solutions — and close on every qualified opportunity
  • Identify customer needs quickly through consultative conversations and position the right products and offers with confidence
  • Present relevant promotions during outbound and follow-up sales conversations, handling objections and asking for the sale
  • Execute post-sale follow-ups to confirm satisfaction, resolve concerns, and uncover additional revenue opportunities
  • Manage a high daily call volume efficiently while maintaining quality standards and compliance requirements
  • Consistently achieve — and beat — individual sales targets, and contribute winning tactics to help the team hit its numbers

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of outbound call center sales experience, ideally with a wireless carrier, telecom dealer, or telecom BPO.
  • A true hunter: money-motivated, competitive, and energized by uncapped earning potential
  • Confident, persuasive communicator who establishes trust over the phone in the first 30 seconds
  • Demonstrated success in consultative selling — uncovering needs, upselling, and closing
  • Resilient and self-driven: rejection rolls off your back and you don't need anyone pushing you to make the next call
  • Collaborative team player who raises the bar in a high-performing sales environment

The Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate brings a telecommunications background — hands-on experience selling wireless or telecom products such as rate plans, plan upgrades, additional lines, devices, and accessories. You understand the telecom customer, speak the language of plans and promotions fluently, and are comfortable navigating carrier systems, offers, and compliance requirements. Experience with a major carrier, dealer, or telecom contact center is a strong asset.

Compensation

OTE: $55,000 CAD annually (inclusive of base pay + commissions)
