About the Role:
Guardian in Amherst, NY is looking for a dependable and hardworking Route Cleaner to join our team! This is a great opportunity to work a consistent schedule, stay active, and take pride in delivering spotless results to our customers every day.
Responsibilities:
- Travel an assigned route to perform cleaning services at designated locations
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, and trash removal
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards at each stop along the route
- Manage time efficiently to complete all route stops within scheduled windows
- Inspect and restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any site concerns or service issues
- Uphold safety and sanitation protocols at all times
Requirements:
- Prior cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage a route with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license may be required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift
- Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings or evenings as needed
