Strategic Projects Lead
About this role
We are looking for a Strategic Projects Lead with 0-2 years of experience to own and manage high-value expert delivery projects end-to-end for leading AI research companies. You'll be a scrappy, client-facing operator who thrives in ambiguity and wants to grow with a fast-scaling AI marketplace at the earliest stage.
What will you be doing?
Managing 3-4 expert delivery projects simultaneously across human data and market research verticals
Handling all client communication — providing proactive updates, pushing back on screening questions, and acting as a strategic thought partner
Recruiting and reactivating experts from an internal panel of 100, 000+ to fulfill project needs
Diagnosing bottlenecks (e.g., drop-off rates, feasibility issues) and working with engineering to build product solutions
Growing your accounts over time by delivering excellent fulfillment and building strong client relationships
Key Requirements
0-2 years of experience in consulting, startups, or operationally intense environments (fresh grads from top 50 schools also welcome)
Exceptional communication skills — must be able to stand their ground with clients and handle negotiations confidently
Scrappy, high-stamina operator who is comfortable with end-to-end ownership including hands-on recruitment work
Must be based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco (on-site 5 days/week with flexibility to work a 6th day)
Proactive problem-solver who thinks about product improvements and process optimization, not just task execution
