About us

TeachMe.To connects independent teachers with students who want private lessons. Over 2 million students visit our lessons marketplace. We also build tools that help independent teachers run their business, and we build them with teachers like you.

Who we are looking for

We want experienced online Reading tutors who already have their own students. You might be a classroom teacher, a reading specialist, or a private tutor with a full schedule. You know how to find students, plan lessons, and get paid. We want to learn how you do it. This is a remote role: you teach online from anywhere in the US. We only accept applicants based in the United States.

What you do

• Teach online, one-on-one: Give private Reading lessons over video, 100% online, at the rates you set.
• Build your student base: Get a profile on the TeachMe.To marketplace, where students and families search for Reading lessons every day.
• Share what you know: Tell us what slows your tutoring business down. Your feedback decides what we build next for Reading tutors.

Requirements

• US-based only: You must live in the United States to apply.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching or tutoring Reading.
• You teach students now, in a school, a learning center, or your own tutoring business.
• A teaching license, a reading specialist certificate, or Orton-Gillingham or Wilson training is a plus.
• A reliable internet connection and a quiet space for online video lessons.
• If you teach students under 18, you complete a background check.

Benefits

• Work from anywhere in the US: Teach 100% online, with no commute and full control over your hours.
• Your rates: You set your prices to reflect your experience.
• We handle the admin: We take care of booking and payments for marketplace lessons, so you can focus on teaching online.
• A say in what we build: Join a 20-minute call with our product team and help shape the tools teachers use.

Apply with your resume and tell us about your current students. We read every application and contact the best fits for a call.
