Generator Mechanic
About this role
Role Summary:
Responsible for maintaining Stallion's vehicles and equipment and ensuring all equipment is up to standards and compliance.
Role Priorities / Responsibilities:
- Perform general mechanical troubleshooting on company service trucks, heavy trucks and trailers
- Maintain vehicle and equipment fleet through preventative service and repairs in timely manner
- Maintain company tools/equipment and inventory records
- Maintain maintenance records in accordance with Company and Local, State, Federal regulations
- Company service truck provided for occasional field service calls
- Ensures compliance with all company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental requirements including, but not limited to completing daily Job Safety Analysis, pre/post-trip inspection reports, near miss and hazard reports
Education or Certification required (if applicable):
- Would prefer having ASE (Auto Service Excellence) Certification
- Must own personal tools/toolbox
- PM's on heavy duty fleet experience required
- Other certifications as necessary
- Must have a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record that meets fleet insurance requirements
- Prefer CDL class A license or ability to obtain one after hire
