About this Role:

The PhysicsAI Team at Siemens is leveraging AI to reinvent the product design cycle. With a focus on customer impact and a strong culture of collaboration and innovation, we are harnessing emerging AI technologies to enable faster product design. The team prioritizes intuitive user interfaces and experiences that translate complex AI-driven physics simulations into accessible, efficient tools for product engineers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyze requirements and user stories to design test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Perform detailed manual tests based on project test plans
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor their results
• Identify, document, and track defects, with clear steps to reproduce
• Verify bug fixes and perform release sign-off testing
• Collaborate with developers to investigate root causes and improve testability
• Contribute to QA processes, standards, and best practices
• Report on test coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness

What You’ll Bring

• Demonstrated creativity and critical thinking in UI/UX design decisions for complex technical applications
• Experience in software engineering
• Proficiency with C++, Qt, PyQt, or similar UI frameworks for desktop engineering/scientific software
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Ability to write clear, modular, performant code
• Comfortable working in both Windows and Linux environments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous learning in new technical domains such as geometric AI, simulation data, and CAE workflows
• Critical judgement to review agent outputs for correctness, edge cases, and architectural fit

Additional / Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with multi-threading and performance optimization in UI applications
• Familiarity with data visualization of geometric or simulation results

Compensation & Benefits 

The primary location for this opportunity is Greece. The applicable salary range for this location is: 

EUR 34,200 – 68,400 EUR (Greece)

This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
