Product Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Interface with mid-level customers, engineers, and managers to develop or enhance complex computer-aided engineering design or manufacturing processes, utilizing complex design and tooling tasks involving multiple design environments.
• Provide support for PCIe Solutions on hardware-assisted verification platforms, addressing customers’ technical needs and concerns.
• Deliver prompt and clear responses to customer inquiries and technical issues.
• Investigate, analyze, and troubleshoot emulated designs to identify root causes while collaborating with R&D to implement solutions.
• Cogently communicate software problems to product development, and provide business and technical feedback to software and hardware vendors.
• Assist other engineers in the design, development, and implementation of large scale, complex graphical application programs on multiple software products and hardware platforms.
• Use advanced data exchange methodologies to facilitate effective data sharing between dissimilar systems or applications that span across engineering disciplines.
• Deliver in-depth training sessions for field engineers and customers on product features and functionality.
• Design use cases and develop test scenarios tailored to customer needs.
• Collaborate closely with customers to gather product requirements and produce clear, detailed documentation and specifications.
• Responsible for writing in-depth technical papers and delivering presentations to customer management.
• Work with early adopters to ensure successful implementation of new features and developments.
• Work closely with experienced team members and guide junior engineers to advance technology, uphold best practices, and drive ongoing product enhancements.
• Work with minimal supervision on complex projects with latitude for independent judgment and discretion, demonstrating well-skilled, broad proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming within a Linux development environment.
• Good knowledge of PCIe/CXL protocol.
• Good understanding of computer systems and x86 architecture.
• Familiarity with emulation technology is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Hardware Description Languages (HDLs) such as Verilog or VHDL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Prior experience in a customer facing function such as application engineer from an emulation or prototype systems provider a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $25,700 to $51,400 USD and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
