About this role
We are looking for a talented Intern AI Engineer to contribute to, and learn from, our several ongoing AI and ML initiatives. Are you ready to be part of the change and help us make real what matters?
Your mission will be to:
- Collaborate in one of the many AI and data science projects running at Siemens.
- Design and build the AI solutions that power Siemens business worldwide.
We are looking for someone with:
- Higher education in a STEM related field with major statistics or mathematics components. Computer Engineering highly preferred.
- 3 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist / AI Engineer in enterprise projects.
- Professional experience and proficiency in Python and SQL are mandatory.
- Professional or academic experience employing Python and data science frameworks (e.g. scikit, pytorch, pandas, opencv, similar) are mandatory.
- Professional experience with core GenAI and AgenticAI concepts - including Deep Learning fundamentals, Model evaluation and monitoring, Feature engineering, RAG, Embeddings and Vector Search, NLP – are highly preferred.
- Professional experience with MLOps practices and AI deployment platforms, especially MLflow and Databricks, are highly valued.
- Very high command of English, written and spoken, is mandatory.
