The Opportunity That Awaits You:
The Production Team Lead leads the manufacturing assemblers by communicating job assignments, training assemblers, providing coaching/feedback, maintaining good manufacturing practice (GMP) in the manufacturing area(s), working with manufacturing engineering to continuously improve devices, and also working at the bench, clean room or on shop floor by performing the following duties.
This position is intended for individuals with demonstrated production experience assembling PROCEPT Pump Cartridge in a regulated manufacturing environment. Candidates must possess prior hands-on experience building the Pump Cartridge and be capable of performing assembly operations with minimal training and supervision.
What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:
- Leverage prior experience building Pump Cartridge to perform assembly operations, troubleshooting, and quality inspections in accordance with established production standards and procedures.
- Lead assemblers in the manufacturing process
- Communicate pertinent performance, work schedule, and activities to the work teams
- Provide coaching and feedback to assemblers related to production output and performance
- Track production assemblers’ attendance and approving time cards,
- Train assembly staff on GMP and monitor compliance
- Compute amounts of stock and supplies required for operation, based on production schedules, and requisition materials from the storage area
- Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve safety, production methods, equipment performance, quality of product, and standards of work
- Interface with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met
- Train and assure associates' compliance to Standard Work and Job Instructions
- Maintain production records
- Suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
- Implement new processes related to process improvement, compliance, and team engagement
- Report all accidents, injuries, and near misses to the Production Manager, assure all documentation is completed and track countermeasures
- Assure proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is used per plant requirements
- Perform many assembly-type functions, using hand and power tools
- Assemble components into a completed product by following GMP
- Assemble parts by using small instruments and microscopic devices
- Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance
- Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS policies

- 5+ years of experience required leading a team of employees under GMP regulation in a clean room setting and in a fast-paced manufacturing operation
- 5+ years of production assembly experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of experience and training
