Perfection Group is hiring a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support our Total Facility Solutions (TFS) team in Cincinnati and assigned customer facilities.
We’re looking for a dependable, experienced technician who takes pride in solving problems, communicating well with customers, and delivering safe, high-quality work. You’ll be embedded at a primary customer facility, keeping HVAC and related building systems running safely and efficiently, while receiving the tools, training, and team support needed to continue developing your career.
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and equipment adjustments on commercial HVAC and related building systems
  • Maintain and service equipment such as rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, boilers, chillers, refrigeration equipment, controls, and associated components
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues and determine appropriate corrective action
  • Respond promptly to service requests, emergency conditions, and issues flagged through building automation or control system monitoring
  • Explain equipment conditions, recommended repairs, and completed work clearly to customer representatives and Perfection Group leadership
  • Maintain accurate service, inspection, maintenance, equipment, and compliance records
  • Travel among assigned customer facilities as contracts, schedules, and operational needs require
  • Support Perfection Group's Service division with preventive maintenance work when TFS scheduling allows
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including after-hours support as needed
  • Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures, including PPE, lockout/tagout practices, and site-specific requirements
  • Build positive working relationships with facility managers, customer representatives, vendors, and Perfection Group teammates
  • Participate in company- and vendor-provided training
What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum of three years of commercial HVAC service or maintenance experience
  • Universal EPA certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
  • Technical school certificate or formal HVAC training preferred
  • Experience with commercial building automation or control systems preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to the larger team
  • Professional communication and customer-service skills
  • Commitment to safe, accurate, high-quality work
