Product Manager
About this role
The Product Manager is a key role within the Product Team. He/she will be defining the strategy, roadmap and feature definition of specific key products of the company. This role serves as the liaison between business, technology and customer needs to ensure product success from conception to launch and beyond.
The Product Manager drives product innovation, enhances customer experience, and ensures alignment with the organizations business objectives.
- Product Strategy and Roadmap: Define specific product vision, strategy and roadmap based on market research and overall business goals of the company.
- Feature Prioritization: Assist the Product Head on identifying and ranking essential product features, incorporating user feedback and business objectives.
- Subject Matter Expert: Serve as an SME and go-to person for products he/she owns within the company.
- Solution Conceptualization: Collaborate with Product Owner on conceiving key solutions on how to solve the stakeholders requirements.
- Development Coordination: Collaborate with Product Head, CTO, technology teams and stakeholders to ensure timely implementation and release of product features.
- Market Research: Analyze current market trends, competitor insights and industry best practices to better refine key product strategies. Use this information to conceive ground breaking products or features that will give the company a competitive edge on the market.
- User Feedback Integration: Collaborate with Product Head and Product Owner on gathering and analyzing user feedback to continually enhance product offerings and improve customer satisfaction.
- Project Oversight: Collaborate with Product Head and Product Owner on tracking development schedules, monitor product performance, and adjust project plans as needed.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in a technology field preferred
Experience:
- 5+ years in SaaS or Fintech product management
- 3+ years Scrum or Kanban experience
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong communication & negotiation skills, organizational skills, and expertise in Product Lifecycle Management.
Business Understanding:
- Stay updated on technology trends, competitor activities, and relevant regulations
Certifications:
- PSPO I or CSPO certification preferred, but not required
