Job Description
- Support and improve security across AWS/Azure/GCP cloud environments
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for threats, misconfigurations, and vulnerabilities
- Assist in deploying and managing security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and monitoring systems
- Help implement secure access controls, role-based permissions (RBAC), and encryption standards
- Respond to alerts and security events, helping mitigate risks quickly
- Maintain incident response documentation and cloud security diagrams
- Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and security teams to align security strategies
- Recommend improvements to strengthen the organizations cloud security posture
Tools & Technologies
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- Identity & Access Management: IAM, Azure AD
- Monitoring & Security Tools: CloudTrail, Security Center, IDS/Firewalls
- Automation & Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell
- Security Concepts: Least privilege, encryption, vulnerability remediation
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- At least 3 years experience in cloud infrastructure or security operations
- Familiarity with cloud-native security tools and best practices
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to continuously learn and grow in cloud security
