About this role

About Optifye

Optifye is building a computer-vision operating system for the factory floor. AI cameras mounted on existing CCTV infrastructure watch every line, workstation, and process, turning raw video into live output counts, cycle times, bottleneck detection, quality checks, and SOP compliance data that plant heads and supervisors act on every shift. The company trains and hosts its own vision models end to end and is deployed at large manufacturers across automotive, apparel, electronics, and other industries, with a team of 16.

About the Role

Optifye's insight is that AI agents now handle infrastructure and computer vision work well, but product taste cannot be automated. This is a full-stack product role where code is the medium: you own a new product inside the factory OS from the blank-page idea through shipped outcome, sitting with plant heads and line supervisors, deciding what to build, and getting working versions into users' hands in days. You will work directly with the founder and define what done means, with no spec handed to you and no playbook to follow.

What You'll Own

Own a new product end to end, from initial idea and discovery through design, build, and measured outcome on the factory floor.

Run discovery with plant heads and line supervisors, visit plants, and watch real users interact with what you shipped.

Decide what to build, what to cut, and what done means, and write it up so the team can act on it.

Own the UX and visual polish of factory-facing surfaces, holding a higher bar than what factory software typically achieves.

Build full-stack features using coding agents running in parallel on frontier models, shipping working versions to users within days.

Iterate rapidly based on direct user feedback, production data, and observed usage on active factory floors.

Must-Have

Founding or very early employee (roughly first 5 to 10) at a fast-growing startup, Series A or Series B caliber or similar, demonstrating you have operated without process or a playbook.

Shipped products people actually use and owned them end to end, including talking directly to customers and running discovery.

Full-stack capability: can take a feature from database to deployed UI alone, with strongest fluency on the product surface.

AI-native: uses coding agents (such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor) daily and runs several in parallel while maintaining quality.

Product taste: notices bad spacing, confusing flows, and features nobody asked for, and fixes them without being told.

Writes clear specs and can explain a hard trade-off in a few sentences for a non-technical audience.

Willingness to work 9am to 10pm, six days a week (Monday to Saturday, 996), in person at the Gurgaon office all six days.

Nice-to-Have

Has taken a product from zero to one independently, including real side projects with live users.

Enjoys customer conversations and has done structured discovery with non-technical users.

Strong portfolio of shipped, polished product surfaces demonstrating visual and UX judgment.

Employment type

Independent Contractor (full-time hours, not on payroll)
