POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Support will assist in handling and maintaining various activities such as handling sales inquiries, following up with agencies on hot leads, coordinating between the Operations and Underwriting teams for releasing policy terms, and assisting in policy bookings and related.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Sales Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers and agencies on active leads, ensuring timely follow-up and supporting Account Executives through to conversion.
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotations based on client and broker requirements.
- Liaise between the Underwriting department and Brokerage to negotiate and confirm underwriting terms and revisions.
- Participate in team calls and broker discussions, contributing to the broader sales coordination effort.
Operations Management
- Issue Premium Notices and Certificates of Insurance (COI) with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate with brokers, agencies, and clients on payment follow-ups and confirmations.
- Support policy corrections, updates, and Mid-Term Adjustments (MTAs).
- Process mid-term policy amendments in a timely and compliant manner.
Sales Leads & Support
- Respond to web inquiries and broker questions received via email and the company website.
- Assist with policy-related queries following new business issuance.
Other job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- May perform other duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in a client relationship or administrative support role.
- Sales or sales coordination experience within the insurance industry strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with brokers, agencies, and clients, as well as cross-functional internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office with intermediate Excel skills.
