As a communications business partner to the EVP/Head of Global Customer Service & Operations and Corporate Real Estate, and in support of the Chief Data & Analytics Officer and the Head of Global Business Solutions, this role develops strategies and content that strengthen alignment, engagement, belonging and purpose across a global organization. The position also leads communications for MetLife’s Triangle Tech X (TTX) ecosystem, including the annual conference and TTX Talks, helping showcase emerging career opportunities, evolving skills and greater inclusion in STEM. Working across internal, external, social and multimedia channels, the strategist translates complex priorities into relevant stories that support business objectives and reinforce MetLife’s reputation as a place where technology and operations talent can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

·       Serve as the lead communications business partner to the Head of Global Customer Service & Operations and Corporate Real Estate, while supporting the Chief Data & Analytics Officer and the Head of Global Business Solutions; counsel senior leaders on communications strategy, messaging and delivery to strengthen alignment and consistency.

·       Develop and execute integrated internal and external communications strategies that advance GTO priorities and broader business objectives, translating complex business, technology and operations topics into clear, compelling stories for diverse audiences.

·       Strengthen employee engagement across channels, continually identifying more effective ways to connect with frontline service and operations employees around the world.

·       Enhance MetLife’s reputation as a place where technology and operations talent can thrive through public relations, social media and thought leadership, including communications and marketing for MetLife’s annual Triangle Tech X Conference.

·       Manage multiple priorities and projects, build strong stakeholder relationships and work effectively across levels, functions, regions and cultures.

Required Qualifications
  • Excellent writing, editing and message-development skills, with the ability to simplify complex business priorities and translate them into compelling stories and content for different audiences, leaders and channels.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as an internal communications business partner and providing strategic counsel to senior leaders.
  • Strong verbal communication, presentation and relationship-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Superior project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proven experience in public relations and social media, including the development of integrated internal and external communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, English or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

·       8+ years of relevant communications or business experience, including the development of written and multimedia content.

·       Experience supporting a technology and operations organization, particularly one with a focus on customer service.

·       Experience leading communications for conferences, executive platforms, thought leadership programs or large-scale employee engagement initiatives.

·       Strong strategic judgment, intellectual curiosity and comfort navigating ambiguity and evolving business priorities.
