About this role

Scripps is looking for a visionary Director, Brand Creative Strategy to oversee brand creative and operations across all Scripps networks and platforms, developing cohesive brand identify and innovative storytelling approaches that modernize how Ad Sales communicates creative strategy to the marketplace while building cross-functional partnerships to streamline workflows and enhance organizational efficiency.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Partner directly with vice president, integrated marketing and sales client solutions to develop and evolve the Scripps Ad Sales brand identity, ensuring a cohesive narrative, brand positioning and visual storytelling across the enterprise.

  • Lead brand partnerships and creative at scale to develop innovative opportunities for Scripps Ad Sales and our clients.

  • Oversee the creative evolution of show materials, sales resources, and marketing assets in partnership with designated design support.

  • Establish creative standards, templates, and best practices that improve how stories are told through presentations, collateral, digital and in real life (IRL) experiences, and client engagement materials.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to Ad Sales Marketing leadership and key stakeholders across the business including Sales, Programming, Marketing, Design, Research, and Product teams.

  • Build and optimize creative workflows, project intake processes, communication channels, and asset management systems.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience

  • Generally, 10+ years of experience in related field preferred

  • Prior managerial experience preferred

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Accomplished in building or evolving brands within media, entertainment, sports, digital, or advertising environments

  • Strong understanding of go-to-market planning, brand development, and sales enablement

  • Proven ability to manage projects and improve operational processes across multiple stakeholders

  • Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and communication skills

  • Experience working with creative teams, designers, and cross-functional partners

  • Ability to think strategically while driving execution and delivering measurable business results

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Annual Salary: $150,000.00 - 160000


 

Pursuant to state and local salary transparency laws, the salary range posted is specific to candidates who will perform this work in New York.
