About The Role

Are you ready to take on a leadership role where you can combine business development with operational excellence? As a Director/Deputy Director (Strata Management) at Knight Frank Property & Facilities Management, you'll be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of properties, leading a team, and driving operational efficiency. You'll work closely with on-site managers, stakeholders, and clients to ensure smooth operations while growing our portfolio through business development initiatives. This role offers the perfect blend of strategic oversight and hands-on leadership.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage a portfolio of properties, including but not limited to residential and mixed-development projects, focusing on smooth operations and high performance.
  • Build strong client relationships, stay attuned to their evolving needs, and deliver exceptional service to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive business development and growth strategies by identifying new opportunities, tendering for projects, expanding the portfolio, and exploring new ventures to contribute to the company’s long-term success.
  • Lead and guide both the headquarter support team and on-site managers to enhance operational efficiency across properties.
  • Chair Annual General Meetings (AGMs), and oversee their smooth execution.
  • Strategically allocate manpower and resources to adapt to changing business demands and maintain high performance across all teams.

We’re Looking For Someone Who’s

  • Experienced, with at least 10 years in property management and 5 years leading teams, capable of managing both people and operations efficiently.
  • Knowledgeable about local codes of practice, the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (BMSMA), and relevant laws.
  • A strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset, skilled at identifying growth opportunities and navigating challenges.
  • A strong communicator with excellent presentation skills, able to gain stakeholder buy-in and effectively convey ideas.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to lead multi-disciplinary projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. 
  • Qualified with a diploma or higher in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Real Estate/Facility Management, or a related discipline.
