Responsibilities

R&D Intern, Golden Path Automation

Keysight Technologies is seeking an R&D Intern to support the development of Golden Path automation, a key initiative aimed at making software delivery faster, simpler, and more consistent across the organization. A Golden Path is a documented, automated, and supported delivery workflow that embeds approved development, security, compliance, and operational practices, so teams can follow a paved road instead of building their own CI/CD pipelines and compliance processes.

This internship offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in DevOps, automation, and product security while contributing to an impactful, high-visibility project within Keysight’s technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, document, and build the automation for a C++ Conan library Golden Path.
  • Create workflows, templates, and self-service capabilities within Keysight’s Internal Developer Platform.
  • Embed security scanning and compliance checks into delivery workflows so developers meet requirements by default.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, and IT teams to validate the Golden Path with real software projects.
  • Test and document Golden Path components so teams can adopt them with minimal effort.

Learning Opportunities

  • Gain exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and platform engineering used across Keysight.
  • Develop practical experience in product security and compliance automation.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Foundational understanding of software development, version control (Git/GitHub), and Linux/Unix environments.
  • Interest in DevOps, automation, developer experience, and security.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced technical environment.
