Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Dozer Operator to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty bulldozers to perform earthmoving tasks essential for construction projects. Your expertise will ensure efficient site preparation, grading, and excavation activities, contributing to the successful completion of various infrastructure developments. The ideal candidate possesses a strong mechanical aptitude, extensive experience with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and precision.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers and other heavy machinery such as loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks to perform earthmoving, grading, and site preparation tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
• Follow project plans and specifications accurately to achieve desired land contours and elevations.
• Assist with excavation activities involving excavators and horizontal drilling equipment as needed.
• Safely maneuver equipment around construction sites, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members including truck drivers, graders, and other operators to coordinate operations efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, and safety checks for project documentation.
• Support the setup of paving operations by preparing surfaces and assisting in material handling.
• Ensure compliance with environmental standards by managing water trucks and tanker operations responsibly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating bulldozers (Dozer) in a construction environment; familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
• Valid commercial driver’s license with experience driving dump trucks, water trucks, or similar vehicles.
• Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of excavation, grading, paving, and horizontal drilling processes.
• Ability to operate additional machinery such as loaders, backhoes, graders, and tankers effectively.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
