Position Summary: 

The FSR shall provide support to test events, engineering efforts, and system fielding and operations throughout the contract. This will entail preforming deployment, march order, operations, troubleshooting as necessary. 

Job Description:

Applicants should possess experience in radar system operations, fielding, and supportability. Knowledge and understanding of radar theory, radar design, field testing, and electro-mechanical maintenance analysis, including troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair/replace techniques, and documentation is also required.  They must also possess the ability to assist and provide input for development and publication of training, maintenance, and logistics publications. Military Occupational Skills that fall within any ADA career Field is a plus. 14 series, 140/141 and 94 series are all highly desirable.

Skills

Previous field engineering and equipment fielding experience in support of a defense program is desired. A two- or four-year degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is desired, as is graduation of certification from a DOD recognized electronics technical school or course of study. Lead FSR shall have at least six years' experience in radar systems operations, fielding, and supportability. Journeyman FSR shall have four years' experience in radar systems operations, fielding, and supportability Experience with the US Army Test & Evaluation community is desirable. DOD instructor certification is highly desired. US Citizenship, a current passport and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

IA certification to at least Level 1 is required within 180 days of hire.
