We're hiring a hungry Founding BDR to drive new business for Clera. This is an SDR-to-AE track role, you'll start by building the outbound engine and graduate into closing deals as you prove yourself.
You'll drive mid-market and enterprise pipeline while helping build out the playbook and continue Clera's rapid growth. We need people willing to grind, but also creative thinkers with high clockspeed who can implement time-saving structure & process and generate new ideas that accelerate growth.
As an early business hire, you'll work directly with the founders to expand Clera's footprint, shape our sales motion, and build a world-class sales team.
- 1-5 years of experience as a top-performing SDR/BDR and/or AE at a high-velocity startup or in finance
- Top performer: track record of top sales performance, quick promotions, consistently beating quota
- Have done something most people haven't: started a company, won a hackathon, qualified for the Olympics
- Cold outbound wins: previously cold-outbounded your way into at least one incredible opportunity you had no business getting
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound qualification and outbound outreach
- Qualify prospects through consultative selling
- Grow top of funnel through warm and cold outbound campaigns
- Test and iterate on experimental marketing and GTM motions
- Maintain accurate CRM data on client relationships
- Progress into a closing AE role as Clera's sales org scales
- SDR-to-AE track with a clear path to closing your own deals
- 10-person team, you'll work directly with the founders daily
- Equity, commission, and early-stage upside: join before the Series A
