Your career opportunity

Technology SMEs at HSBC provide deep subject matter expertise alongside the engineering function to help shape and deliver technology solutions that support day-to-day operations with the right levels of service, capacity, resilience and security. In this role you’ll use specialist knowledge in one or more business domains, products or applications to design front-to-back solutions with business stakeholders and take end-to-end ownership of complex functional change through development, testing and implementation.

What you'll do

• Design solutions in consultation with business stakeholders
• Create functional design documentation and explain the impact of solution choices
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex front-to-back functional changes including development, testing and implementation
• Encourage a strong culture of domain understanding across the team
• Lead front-to-back teams across multiple asset classes
• Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and influence technology-related decision making that supports shared goals
• Remove blockers and create pathways during uncertainty to support resilient delivery
• Mentor team members and provide subject matter expertise including taking the lead on application and functional fixes when needed

What do you need to have to succeed in this role

• Expert knowledge in one or more specific business domains, products or applications
• Specialist skills in one or more business applications
• Proven experience designing solutions with business stakeholders and translating needs into functional outcomes
• Strong capability producing clear design documentation and explaining functional impacts
• Experience owning delivery of complex front-to-back functional change through development, testing and implementation
• Background coordinating or leading front-to-back teams across multiple asset classes
• Expertise in system thinking
• High proficiency in agile ways of working

What we offer:

The pay range for this role is 24 600 PLN - 36 900 PLN (monthly, gross).
Additional car allowance in the amount of 4786 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
