  • Advise product development on any analytical implications of new feature releases or adjustments to existing models

  • Coach other engineers and analysts to get the most from our data models and maintain our codebases for the long term

  • Use your knowledge of Fresha's product and data models to analyse the performance of features and support product operations - through analytical queries and dashboards

  • Develop comprehensive data documentation to maintain consistency in understanding and communication across the team.

Skills, experience & qualifications required
  • Working fluency in English

  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and a solid understanding of data modeling concepts

  • Deep familiarity with mature dbt projects across the full lifecycle of development and deployment

  • Experience with people management and being responsible for organising and unblocking work

  • Understanding of data warehousing systems, cost drivers, configurations, security and access controls

  • Drive to work out how to best apply AI tools to facilitate development, analysis and automation while maintaining quality

  • Open to new types of pipelines and products e.g. batch LLM processing of free text

  • Exposure to or familiarity with streaming and batch data ingestion systems

  • Demonstrable experience in improving the performance, efficiency and usability of data models

  • Experience translating business requirements from non-technical data users and downstream analytical teams into data products
