Field Application Engineering Technician – Metal Packaging

We are looking for a Field Application Engineering Technician to provide technical support and develop product applications for customers in the Metal Packaging industry, particularly in Two-Piece Aluminum Cans.

This role combines customer interaction, technical problem-solving, product demonstrations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve customer processes and drive innovation. 

What you´ll do

• Recommend products and develop customized applications based on customer needs.
• Conduct technical visits, product demonstrations, audits, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Support laboratory testing, product qualification, and technical analysis.
• Provide technical training to customers and field sales teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Innovation teams.
• Share technical knowledge and best practices across business units.

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in Metal Packaging, particularly Two-Piece Aluminum Cans.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing, product applications, and customer technical support.
• Ability to analyze technical data, troubleshoot issues, and develop practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Metal Packaging D&I and washer processes is a plus.
• English and Spanish are highly desirable.
