Industrial Controls Panel Builder / Electrician (Contract)
2-month contract, can extend | Eligible for direct hire offers after 90 days | Located in Holland, MI
We’re looking for an electrician to build and wire industrial control panels and do field wiring on custom automation equipment, working from prints.
What You’ll Do
- -Build and wire control panels, including backplane layout to print
- -Do field wiring on custom machines to print
- -Install cable tray and run power, air and network drops to fit the line layout
- -Work on circuits from 480VAC down to 24VDC
- -Troubleshoot wiring and circuits and wire to NEC
What You Need
- -Experience with panel and control wiring
- -Strong at reading schematics and paying close attention to detail
- -Journeyman card strongly preferred
- -High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus
- -Comfortable climbing ladders, getting on and under machines, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- -Able to get forklift, aerial lift, overhead crane and LOTO certifications once on the job
