About this role

We are looking for a Perception Hardware Integration Engineer with 8+ years of experience to own Furientis' missile seeker as a working system, from the first prototype on the bench to every unit that follows. We need a hands-on hardware engineer who has worked closely with optics and imaging systems and has shipped real electro-optical products. You'll take a seeker that is already flying and collecting data, and help make it cheap enough to mass-produce, which is how America closes its interceptor production gap.

What will you be doing?

  • Integrate cameras, optics, compute, IMUs and power into the seeker, including packaging, harnessing and assembly
  • Build, bring up and calibrate seekers (NUC, bad-pixel maps, radiometric cal, boresight) so every unit performs the same
  • Run the build → flight test → data analysis → redesign loop across 3–4 seeker systems in development at once
  • Partner with the Seeker Lead (algorithms) and the opto-mechanical engineer to tune and redesign the system based on flight data
  • Own seeker test, environmental qualification and the supply chain, and automate repetitive work with Python and AI tools
