Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A seeks a full-time Logistics and Compliance Analyst at our Consumer Products manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE. Apply now at KawasakiCareers.com.
Responsibilities of Logistics & Compliance Analyst can include:
Execution of the company’s import and export compliance programs, including:
Tariff classification of product for both import and export purposes
Support and maintain Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operation and compliance program
Prepare and compile reports for submission to various federal agencies
Conduct internal audits to ensure that the company is in compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations
Support of the company’s CTPAT program; including overall supply chain risk analysis
Analysis of parts and finished goods for free trade agreement eligibility (USMCA, etc.)
Analyze requirements, procedures and problems to identify improvement opportunities
Communicate with all levels of the organization, freight companies, customs brokers, government agencies, and suppliers to maintain a reliable supply chain
Review and analyze trends and anomalies that can be used to identify supply chain improvements and communicate information to appropriate individuals and entities, both internal and external
Plan and/or conduct projects related to cost or compliance improvements
Assist other departments with shipping or receiving transactions
Qualifications for Logistics & Compliance Analyst:
1-2 years of experience in logistics, international logistics, and/or supply chain operations
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or equivalent experience in transportation, supply chain, and/or import/export operations
Ability to display appropriate proficiency with computers and computer applications
Familiarity with CTPAT or Foreign Trade Zones is preferred
