As part of our Professional Services organization, you will work with enterprise customers to design, implement and optimise advanced F5 Application Delivery and Application Security solutions across complex IT environments.

We are looking for an experienced Lead F5 Application Delivery & Security Consultant to expand our F5 capability. This is a customer-facing consulting role where you will act as a trusted technical advisor, leading architecture, solution design, implementation and optimization for some of Denmark's most business-critical IT environments.

This position is based in Copenhagen and requires regular presence at our office as well as at customer locations.

 

Your Responsibilities

As our Lead F5 Application Delivery & Security Consultant, you will:

• Lead the design, implementation and optimization of enterprise F5 Application Delivery and Security solutions.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer engagement lifecycle.
• Design, implement and optimize F5 BIG-IP platforms with a clear focus on Application Delivery and Application Security.
• Design, deploy and optimize F5 Advanced WAF (AWAF) policies.
• Design and implement API Security solutions for modern application environments.
• Develop advanced iRules and leverage iControl REST for automation and integration.
• Automate F5 deployments using Python, Ansible and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Integrate F5 solutions with Azure, AWS, Kubernetes and hybrid cloud environments.
• Perform platform assessments, upgrades, health checks and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex production environments and provide technical leadership.
• Lead technical workshops and contribute to solution architecture and presales activities.
• Mentor colleagues and help grow TDC Erhverv's F5 capability within Professional Services.

 

Your Profile

You are an experienced consultant with extensive experience in F5 technologies, application delivery and application security.

You enjoy working directly with enterprise customers and are comfortable translating business requirements into secure, scalable and resilient technical solutions.

You combine leadership in technical work with clear, effective communication, and are seen by customers and colleagues as a trusted advisor.

Required Technical Skills
You have extensive practical experience with:

• Core F5 Technologies
• F5 BIG-IP LTM
• F5 Advanced WAF (AWAF/ASM)
• API Security
• iRules
• iControl REST

Networking & Security

• HTTP/HTTPS
• SSL/TLS
• TCP/IP
• DNS
• High Availability
• Linux

Automation
Further experience with the following:

• Python
• Ansible
• Terraform
• Git
• REST APIs

 

You have demonstrated experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise-scale F5 Application Delivery and Security solutions.

Qualifications
Experience with one or more of the following:

• BIG-IP APM
• BIG-IP DNS (GTM)
• BIG-IP Next
• NGINX
• Kubernetes / OpenShift
• Azure or AWS Networking
• DevSecOps
• OAuth2, OpenID Connect and SAML
• OWASP Top 10
• Bot Defense
• Zero Trust Architecture

Relevant certifications are highly valued, including:

• F5 Certified Administrator (201)
• F5 Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
• Azure or AWS Certifications
• Kubernetes Certifications

Requirements

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Danish security clearance.
• Be willing to travel to customer sites when required.
