The lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of pool users and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the pool area. They must also handle pool equipment correctly and be prepared to perform life-saving duties when necessary.
Candidates must possess strong swimming skills and hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (RLSS). Excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain vigilant in a pressurized environment are also required.

As a Lifeguard you’ll be an important part of life here at the centre as you ensure that everyone can use the pool in safety and that they have access to everything they need to enjoy their visit.
Without you there can’t be any pool activity. But you won’t be working alone. Our leisure centre has a close knit and supportive team, all working towards providing an inclusive leisure hub for the entire community. You will also receive fantastic training and development opportunities and benefits including free leisure access and other various discounts.
