AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Amazon Web Services came to China in 2013, and has been relentlessly investing and expanding our infrastructure and business since then. Amazon Web Services launched its China (Beijing) Region (operated by Sinnet) in September 2016 and its China (Ningxia) Region (operated by NWCD) in December 2017. In 2019, Amazon Web Services added a new region in Hong Kong, making China the only country with three Amazon Web Services regions aside from the U.S. In 2022, Amazon Web Services launched Local Zone in Taipei. Amazon Web Services has also established an AI lab in Shanghai and two IoT labs in Shenzhen and Taipei. The Amazon Web Services Partner Network has thousands of Partners in China. This is why the Industry cluster GF team is looking for a BD Manager, MFG GF who is passionate, intelligent, and dedicated to expand AWS business in China local market.

Key job responsibilities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the rapidly growing Manufacture market, including Physical AI, Smart device, Smart home, Smart Manufacture, Innovative research and development and other relevant sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target accounts.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies, tailored to the unique needs and requirements of each potential customer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts and product managers, to develop compelling value propositions and solutions.
• Conduct in-depth market research, analyze industry trends, and stay up to date with emerging technologies and innovations in the manufacturing space.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closing deals.
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's overall growth and success in the Manufacture market.

Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field, or Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent
- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record of successful sales or winning cases in Manufacture industry, specifically with Physical AI, Smart device, Smart home, Smart Manufacture, Innovative research and development and other relevant sectors. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in any Bigdata architecture and experience with virtualization (Hypervisors, VMware, Xen)
- 8+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- Experience conversing with senior customer stakeholders including Directors and VPs of procurement, CPOs, VP’s supply chain, and CIOs
- Experience delivering results, setting strategy, and running a large volume and high profile business
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the Manufacture industry, with a focus on O Physical AI, Smart device, Smart home, Smart Manufacture, Innovative research and development and other relevant sectors.
