The chemist is responsible for conducting laboratory testing in accordance with SOPs and ISO/IEC 17025 standards while ensuring quality and turnaround time requirements are met. They must also maintain laboratory safety, document procedures, and ensure the accuracy of test reports and proficiency programs.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field and possess 1-2 years of experience in an analytical laboratory. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and knowledge of laboratory safety regulations are required.
