The physiotherapist will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care for patients with chronic and complex health conditions within a multidisciplinary team. They will also contribute to research, quality improvement, staff training, and the supervision of students and junior staff.
Candidates must hold a recognised tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Recent experience in cardiorespiratory or aged and complex care, along with a current Victorian driver's licence, is required.

About the role
As the Grade 2 Physiotherapist, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services within a specialised area of practice, using your advanced clinical knowledge and experience to support consumers with chronic and complex health conditions. You will act as a clinical resource for colleagues, contribute to staff education and training, and support the delivery of best-practice care.
You will work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, providing assessment, treatment, and care planning while contributing to research, quality improvement, and professional development activities. The role also includes supervising students and supporting the development of junior physiotherapy staff.
You will continually build your clinical expertise and, when required, provide leadership and support to the physiotherapy team, including during periods of senior staff absence. This position may involve working across a range of Eastern Health sites.

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
