We’re looking for an Event Manager to join us at Telia. I’m Beata Enmark, Head of Marketing & GTM, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. Right now, we’re searching for a proactive and hands-on Event Manager with a strong focus on webinars, partner events, and driving demand. 

 

We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on driving demand, strengthening customer relationships, and enabling sales through data-driven marketing and impactful communication. 

 

What you’ll do 

In this role, you will drive conversion across all segments, boost sales, retention, and loyalty among Telia and Telia Cygate customers, and attract new audiences through engaging events and webinars. You’ll also be responsible for increasing participation and turning attendees into leads by building strong relationships through pre- and post-event communication. 

 

  • You will own webinars as well as digital and physical event formats 

  • You will be responsible for planning, coordination, timelines, and follow-up to ensure lead capture, activation readiness, and measurable results 

  • You will ensure high-quality delivery across all formats, with a clear focus on lead generation, follow-up, and business impact 

  • You will co-own the event agenda together with partners, including responsibility for funding and establishing scalable formats for the organization 

  • You will lead the development of event and webinar formats that can be executed independently by the organization—especially Sales—to enable more frequent and effective customer interactions 

  • You will be responsible for creating relevant communication before and after events and webinars to increase participation and strengthen the sales pipeline 

 

You will work closely with colleagues across the Marketing team, Customer Base Management, and stakeholders within Channel Sales, CU Major Accounts, as well as external agencies. To succeed, you need to be able to translate strategic initiatives into concrete, engaging content, and activities. 

 

 

What will help you thrive in this role 

You are a structured and business-oriented event professional who combines creativity with strong execution skills and a clear focus on results. 

 

  • 5–10 years of experience within event management, an event agency, or a similar role 

  • Strong communication skills with a clear link to driving sales and customer loyalty 

  • Experience from larger organizations and working with B2B events or communications 

  • Experience from IT vendors or the telecom industry is considered a merit
