Through our logistics service providers, we ensure the daily supply of production – from material flow from the warehouse, via internal plant transport, all the way to the cleanroom. You are a good fit for us if you appreciate everyday challenges, enjoy working with interfaces and like varied tasks. With your open, pragmatic manner, you take on the ZEISS internal escalation level as service management and coordinate our external companies.

Your role

• Be responsible for optimal alignment and communication between the service provider and the work processes of the specialist departments (stakeholder management), and act as the escalation level for the operational specialist departments

• Take over the operational and tactical management and controlling of the service provider on the basis of KPI monitoring, and extend the indicators as required. You are also responsible for the evaluation and optimization of workflows and processes, including the development/adaptation of SOPs

• Ensure audit compliance and adherence to compliance guidelines together with the service provider

• Conduct regular coordination meetings with service providers, carry out necessary qualification measures, and ensure quality processes at the service provider

• Coordinate new work packages with the specialist departments and the service provider and ensure the successful integration of projects at the service provider (within the framework agreement)

• Carry out change-management projects to modify and optimize the services offered

Your profile

• Successfully completed university degree in industrial engineering or business administration with a focus on logistics, or an equivalent qualification as technical specialist or business administrator
• Three years of professional leadership experience in a commercial/logistics environment, ideally in an international industrial company with a corporate structure, or several years of professional experience in a service environment or in quality management
• Solid experience in working with SAP (MM/PP/SD/WM)
• Strongly pronounced, structured and analytical way of working combined with a clear hands-on mentality
• Proactive, assertive personality with strong planning and organizational skills as well as persuasive power
• Business-fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written; additional foreign languages are an advantage
