Develop, implement, and optimize SMT manufacturing processes to meet quality, productivity, and cost objectives. Provide technical support for production lines while troubleshooting equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
Requires 3-5 years of experience in SMT manufacturing within a high-volume electronics environment. Candidates must possess hands-on expertise with SMT equipment and strong knowledge of quality methodologies like 8D, FMEA, and SPC.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve SMT manufacturing processes to achieve quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
Optimize SMT process parameters including solder paste printing, SPI, pick-and-place placement, reflow soldering, and AOI inspection.
Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), First Pass Yield (FPY), process capability, and throughput.
Conduct process validation, machine qualification, and line readiness activities for new product introductions.
Provide technical support for SMT production lines and automated equipment.
Troubleshoot process, machine, and quality-related issues to minimize downtime and production losses.
Support and optimize equipment such as:
Fuji Pick-and-Place Machines
Koh Young SPI Systems
Viscom AOI Systems
Reflow Ovens
Solder Paste Printers
Other equivalent SMT platforms
Collaborate with Maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and preventive maintenance effectiveness.
