We are currently seeking a Material Handler to play a key role in supporting efficient and seamless production operations at our Burnfoot site in Co. Donegal.
This role is well suited to individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and take pride in contributing to safe, high-quality, and efficient manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will support production teams by ensuring materials are handled, stored, and supplied effectively to meet operational demands.
Key responsibilities:
Monitor live production schedules using IFS to arrange, inspect, and deliver materials from stores to production teams.
Report any damages or shortages, raise NCRs for non-conformances, and liaise with quality and engineering to ensure issues are resolved quickly.
Ensure all materials are stored correctly, labelled, and organised, and that items leaving an area are booked out to the correct project.
Pursue outstanding materials and keep the Team Leader updated.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment.
Support timely distribution and delivery of materials between stores, production, fabrication, and assembly teams.
Provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues, identifying and escalating training needs where necessary.
Uphold and contribute to VOS principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Adhere to all safety, security, and compliance requirements, including Health & Safety, risk assessments, and COSHH regulations.
Inventory & Stock Control Responsibilities:
Physically count stock in designated areas to ensure accuracy of records.
Reconcile discrepancies by comparing physical counts with system data and investigating differences.
Maintain inventory accuracy by resolving variances and updating warehouse management systems.
Assist with stock replenishment by moving and organising materials, ensuring availability for production.
Use barcode scanners, ERP, and warehouse management systems to track material movements efficiently.

Essential Skills, Qualifications/Experience:
To be considered for shortlisting, applicants must meet all the following:
Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
High attention to detail with accuracy in counting and recording information.
Basic Maths and IT skills for data entry and reconciliation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of workshop equipment, methods, and procedures.
A clear disciplinary record.
Desirable Skills, Qualifications/Experience:
Understanding of moulding systems and production environments.
Experience with warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts or other machinery).
Please note: This role involves regular walking, standing, and some lifting in a busy warehouse environment, and may also require experience with forklifts or other machinery for moving and storing inventory.
