Unternehmensbeschreibung
Die Kreislaufwirtschaft gilt als Schlüssel, um Ressourcenverbrauch und Emissionen in der Industrie nachhaltig zu reduzieren. Ein besonders wirtschaftlich vielversprechender Ansatz ist die wertsteigernde Kreislaufwirtschaft (Upgrade Circular Economy): die gezielte Aufwertung bereits genutzter Produkte durch modulare Upgrades, statt sie durch Neugeräte zu ersetzen. Die meisten produzierenden Unternehmen stufen höhere R-Strategien als relevant ein, scheitern jedoch an der Umsetzung. Eine zentrale Ursache liegt in der Wirtschaftlichkeitsbewertung: Vorhaben der wertsteigernden Kreislaufwirtschaft werden im Projektportfolio nicht fair mit linearen Alternativen verglichen, weil herkömmliche Entscheidungskennzahlen zentrale Effekte wie Resilienz, Kundenbindung oder Erlöse über mehrere Nutzungszyklen nicht korrekt abbilden. Damit Investitionsentscheidungen die tatsächliche Wertlogik der wertsteigernden Kreislaufwirtschaft erfassen, müssen Erlös- und Kostenstruktur zu einem Business Case zusammengeführt und in geeignete Entscheidungskennzahlen überführt werden. Genau hier setzt diese Abschlussarbeit an: Es soll ein Business Case Kalkulator erstellt werden, der Erlöse und Kosten über mehrere Nutzungszyklen synthetisiert und in Kennzahlen überführt, die einen fairen Vergleich mit linearen Alternativvorhaben ermöglichen. Die Ergebnisse fließen direkt in das Forschungsprojekt GRROW ein und können bei Bedarf in eine Veröffentlichung überführt werden. Durch das Forschungsprojekt stehen namhafte Industriepartner wie bspw. Miele zur Verfügung.

Das sind Deine Aufgaben:
Identifikation geeigneter Entscheidungskennzahlen für Investitionsentscheidungen in der wertsteigernden Kreislaufwirtschaft
Synthese von Erlös- und Kostenstruktur zu einem geschäftsmodellspezifischen Business Case über mehrere Nutzungszyklen
Überführung des Business Case in spezifische Entscheidungskennzahlen (z. B. mehrzyklischer Kapitalwert, Total Upgrade Profit) als Grundlage für den Vergleich mit linearen Investitionsalternativen
Qualifikationen
Das bringst Du mit:
Du studierst Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Maschinenbau, Betriebswirtschaftslehre oder ähnliches
Du bringst unternehmerisches Denken mit und hast idealerweise erste Projekterfahrung im wirtschaftlichen Umfeld
Du arbeitest selbstständig und strukturiert
Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
Du bist sicher im Umgang mit MS-Office und offen für den Einsatz von KI-Werkzeugen (z. B. zur Literaturrecherche)
