The Precollege Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning Excellence (PEOPLE) started in 1999 with 66 high school students from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. PEOPLE has grown to serve over 1,100 students across three distinct units – Madison Precollege, Milwaukee Precollege, and the College Success Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Our precollege program is designed to help students become viable college candidates for UW-System institutions, with an emphasis on UW-Madison. |

-Strong interest in student support, particularly for those facing obstacles to college attainment. -Passion for written communication. -Previous experience in tutoring, mentorship, and/or other forms of student support preferred. -Knowledge of UW-Madison, including but not limited to the application process, preferred. -Employment will require UW-Madison to verify your identity and employment eligibility.
