The Host greets and seats guests while maintaining floor plans, and the Food Porter efficiently transports dishes from the kitchen to the dining room. Both roles focus on creating exceptional first impressions and seamless service in a high-volume environment.
Candidates must have Pro-Serve Certification for Alberta and the ability to lift 40+ lbs. Experience requirements vary by role, with the Host requiring at least one year and the Porter requiring six months of food and beverage experience.

We are looking for dynamic, passionate individuals to join the Front of House teams in one of our largest and most iconic venues at Fairmont Banff Springs - 1888 Chophouse & Grapes. As a Host or Food Porter, you will play a key role in creating exceptional first impressions and delivering seamless service experiences in fast-paced, high-volume environments
Starting Rate: $18.08 per hour - $18.70 per hour, this is dependent on the position.
Host/ess:
Food Porter:
Host - Previous food and beverage experience required of 1 year at least
Porter - 6 months previous food and beverage experience required preferably in a fast paced luxury environment and comfortable carry 3 plates at one time.
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
