We are looking for a strong and inspiring leader to head our Quality Control departments in Bagsværd and Gråsten, Denmark. Together, the two departments consist of approximately 80 highly skilled and motivated employees who play a critical role in ensuring product quality and supporting our business.
You will be based in Bagsværd and report directly to the Head of Global Quality Control. As part of the extended Global Quality Control leadership team, you will work closely with both local and global stakeholders to translate strategy into action, build strong teams, and drive operational excellence.

The Role & Your Impact
As Associate Director, you will lead two strategically important Quality Control organizations through a team of supervisors. You will be responsible for creating strong business results through people leadership, operational excellence, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities in this role
Lead the Quality Control organizations in Bagsværd and Gråsten through a team of supervisors.
Ensure safe, compliant, efficient, and customer-focused laboratory operations.
Drive continuous improvements in quality, service, productivity, and cost performance.
Build strong leadership teams and develop talent across the organization.
Act as a trusted partner to Production, Supply Chain, Quality Operations, and site leadership.
Support the digitalization and automation journey within Quality Control.
Translate global QC strategies into strong local execution.
Contribute actively to the development of Global Quality Control by sharing best practices and driving global initiatives.
What you'll need to be successful in this role
To succeed, we expect that you bring:
A degree within chemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, engineering, food science, or a related scientific discipline.
Significant leadership experience from operational environments.
A strong quality mindset combined with sound business understanding.
Proven ability to lead through leaders and create direction, accountability, and engagement in larger organizations.
Experience driving organizational development, change management, and continuous improvement.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across functions and organizational levels.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in Danish and English.

Working conditions
The position is based in Bagsværd, Denmark. Regular collaboration and presence across both the Bagsværd and Gråsten sites are expected to ensure close alignment with operations and leadership teams. The role involves extensive interaction with both local and global stakeholders, requiring strong collaboration across functions and organizational levels. Occasional travel may be required as part of participation in global initiatives, leadership activities, and cross-site projects.
