We are hiring an experienced Onsite Recruiter to lead talent acquisition efforts from the ground level. This position plays a critical role in identifying, engaging, and hiring high-caliber aerospace professionals across engineering, manufacturing, and support roles. The ideal candidate brings aerospace industry experience and is comfortable working directly onsite in a fast-paced, production environment. NO AGENCIES or VISA sponsorship available. NOT open to Remote. Direct Hire, Onsite Only.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements.
Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies to attract top aerospace talent, including direct sourcing, job boards, professional networks, industry events, and technical schools.
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation.
Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Conduct candidate interviews and facilitate technical interviews with department leads.
Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks, reference checks, and onboarding paperwork.
Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates to HR Director and leadership.
Promote the company as an employer of choice within the aerospace community.
Attend career fairs, trade shows, and recruiting events relevant to the aerospace industry.
Assist in refining job descriptions and posting strategies to increase applicant quality and volume.
Support workforce planning and talent pipeline development for future hiring needs.
10+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 3+ year in aerospace or aviation manufacturing.
Strong understanding of aerospace-related roles, certifications, and candidate profiles.
Must have experience hiring aerospace engineers and understanding the technical requirements of engineering roles.
Proven ability to source and attract hard-to-find technical talent.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience working onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing or technical environment.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
Experience recruiting for FAA-certified roles, A&P mechanics, or composite technicians.
Familiarity with EEO, OFCCP, and other compliance requirements in hiring.
PHR or SHRM certification
