The opportunity

You will join the local market leader in Risk Consulting.  Our clients, major players in the local and international market, operate in a fast-paced environment, characterized by continued disruption and transformation. Your key responsibilities

You are expected to work efficiently in diverse teams, be adaptable, flexible and inclusive, showcasing strong communication skills and teamwork. You are anticipated to manage time effectively, think critically and creatively with the desire to learn and understand new concepts, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.

For this role, you are required to:

• Work closely with clients to understand their unique needs, translating regulatory requirements and business needs into actionable strategies, policies, methodologies and processes
• Design comprehensive risk management frameworks across the spectrum of financial and non-financial risk types such as credit, market, liquidity, operational, environmental, social & governance (ESG) risks
• Analyze regulatory guidance and expectations for capital adequacy, liquidity & funding position, risk governance, risk strategy and risk appetite, stress testing, as well as other items in the supervisory agenda
• Engage stakeholders through compelling presentations and discussions, fostering a collaborative environment for idea exchange and consensus building
• Keep up to date with the latest banking trends and developments

To qualify for the role you must have

• A bachelor's and master’s degree in areas such as accounting and finance, finance and banking, economics, statistics, mathematics or engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Greek and English
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Project management skills
• Willingness to learn and continuously expand technical and business skills
• Travelling availability and potential work on projects abroad
• Completed military obligations (where applicable)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• A relevant professional qualification (e.g. PRM, FRM, CFA etc.)
• Experience (limited or extensive) in the financial services/banking sector regarding any of the following or other relevant areas:
  • Risk management
  • Prudential requirements for capital adequacy and liquidity, including ICAAP/ILAAP and stress testing
  • Recovery & resolution planning
