The Eurazeo Group's CAPITAL business, which specializes in investing in and supporting mature private equity companies, is recruiting a junior financial analyst to join its small team based in Paris. 
As part of the finance department, and under the responsibility of the Eurazeo Capital Finance team, in close coordination with the investment teams and corporate team leaders, you will contribute to the financial monitoring of the Capital activity.  

I.Portfolio monitoring & Performance Analysis 

• Support detailed financial analysis of portfolio companies based on monthly reporting and regular discussions with company management or shareholders 
• Assist in the analysis of recurring financial reports (vs. budget, prior year, business plan, and investment thesis) 
• Input and validate financial data, draft performance commentary for quarterly investor and internal finance reports 
• Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of performance indicators by portfolio company 
• Help monitor the performance of acquired management companies (GPs), including integration and financial reporting 
• Provide ad hoc accounting support to portfolio companies on specific technical matters 
• Assist in the development and maintenance of internal monitoring tools (e.g. iLevel) 
  

II.Valuation & Reporting 

• Contribute to the quarterly valuation process of portfolio companies, applying various valuation methods (latest transaction, trading comparables, DCF) 
• Analyze shareholders’ agreements and model distribution waterfalls as part of the valuation process 
• Support the preparation of materials for the Valuation Committee, addressed to senior management and external stakeholders (auditors, independent valuers) 
  
  

III.Ad Hoc Support 

• Assist in the preparation of due diligence and marketing materials related to the portfolio 
• Help prepare datarooms in the context of fundraising processes 
• Provide support to the investment team during live transactions  
  

 

 

• Solid academic record: pursuing a relevant Master’s degree in a top ranking Business School; Also engineering students with academic background in corporate finance will be considered; 
• Strong analytical and modelling skills; 
• Strong oral and written communication skills; 
• Self-starter and independent thinker with strong problem solving skills; 
• Some understanding of the Private Equity market would be useful; 
• Fluency in English mandatory.
