About this role
The Company
Echelon Data Centres was established in 2017 by the main principal of Aldgate Developments, a leading commercial property developer and owner of major commercial office buildings in Central London and Dublin. The objective was developing, operating, and owning a network of large-scale, responsibly designed, sustainably powered data centre campuses across the world to meet the rapidly expanding global demand for hyperscale data processing and storage solutions.
Echelon currently has seven data centre facilities either operational or in development across Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Spain with a combined capacity of approximately 1.25GW. The recent acquisition of a prime 37-acre site in Italy, marks the next step of Echelon’s expansion into Continental Europe.
We are now seeking to strengthen and grow our function in our Dublin office by recruiting an experienced Group Project Information Manager. This is a team lead opportunity for a document control subject matter expert who can set consistent standards, lead the project information management team, and strengthen information governance across our portfolio of mission-critical developments.
The Role
The Group Project Information Manager is responsible for leading the project information management and document control function across the Group’s portfolio of mission-critical developments, including data centres, energy centres, substations, and associated infrastructure.
The role provides functional leadership to project information management and document control personnel, establishes Group-wide standards, and assures consistent implementation across projects. As the subject matter expert for document control, the Group Project Information Manager works closely and collaboratively with Echelon’s BIM Lead to ensure that information management requirements, processes, systems, and deliverables operate effectively across all phases of the project lifecycle. The role ensures that information is systematically created, reviewed, approved, controlled, distributed, stored, retained, and handed over in line with contractual, regulatory, and organisational requirements.

Provide assurance that project information complies with contractual requirements, regulatory obligations, company policies, and applicable ISO-based management systems.

Capture and incorporate lessons learned and project feedback into portfolio documentation and standard ways of working.
Provide functional input to project mobilisation, information requirements, execution plans, delivery strategies, and project close-out arrangements.
Govern project information throughout the full lifecycle, from development and design through construction, commissioning, completion, and operational handover.
Define and assure handover requirements, including as-built information, O&M manuals, commissioning records, asset data, training records, warranties, and final archives.
