Senior Electrical Engineer
About this role
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design and build the core electrical subsystems for our next-generation humanoid robot platforms. You'll join a fast-growing robotics startup that is building the foundation for physical AI — combining cutting-edge robots with a universal Physical AI OS. This is a high-ownership, 0-to-1 role where you'll make architecture decisions and drive subsystems end-to-end. We need someone with deep PCB design experience (10+ layer boards) who thrives in a hands-on environment and wants to help build production-ready hardware from scratch.
What will you be doing?
Own end-to-end design of power electronics subsystems including battery management, power distribution, protection circuits, and DC-DC conversion for humanoid robot platforms
Create schematics and complex multi-layer PCB layouts (10+ layers) using industry-standard EDA tools, owning the full cycle from concept through prototype bring-up to production release
Design and validate motor drive circuits for high-performance actuation and sensor integration circuits for IMUs, encoders, and force/torque sensors
Drive DFM/DFA decisions and work directly with contract manufacturers to ensure designs are manufacturable at production scale
Collaborate daily with firmware and mechanical engineers on hardware/software interfaces, physical integration, and thermal constraints
