Product Engineer

We're hiring product engineers who are exceptional at building with LLMs. Not just curious about AI, but skilled at shipping with it.You prototype quickly, prompt effectively, and deliver production-grade features end to end. You combine deep engineering ability with the instinct to know what makes an LLM-powered experience actually work. At Delvo, we're building the intelligence layer for strategic procurement. The world's largest industrial companies spend billions on sourcing, yet their category managers still run on fragmented data, manual analysis, and gut feel. We're replacing that with AI agents that turn procurement into a cognitive function. The complexity is real, and the opportunity is massive. You'll operate across the full stack: frontend, backend, and LLM integrations. You'll move in fast cycles with serious scope, alongside a team that plays to win. Why This Role Real customer pull: Enterprise customers are asking for capabilities faster than we can build them. You'll directly expand what we can ship and how quickly. From signal to product: You'll sit close to real users, translating their feedback and behavior into experiences that actually land. You'll define how AI agents and procurement professionals interact at scale. Make complexity disappear: Our most important upcoming features run on sophisticated agent pipelines. Your job is to make that sophistication invisible to the user. Navigate ambiguity: Great outcomes here require fast prototyping, sharp instincts, and relentless iteration. There's no playbook. Just creative, persistent execution. End-to-end ownership: You'll own features from UX through backend logic to prompt design. What you build will directly shape the experience for our highest-value customers. Profile We're open to all experience levels. What counts is mindset: perseverance, curiosity, and a track record of building things that matter. You should: Be an excellent software engineer, or clearly on your way to becoming one, demonstrated through your work and how fast you learn. Be genuinely motivated by putting product in front of users and watching it perform in the real world. Have strong product taste and creative instincts for what makes a great user experience. Know how to work with LLMs: prompting, tuning, integrating them into real products. Show us through your work, side projects, or hackathons. Treat AI tools as a natural part of how you develop, with a clear sense of when they help and when they don't. Be comfortable working across the stack: UI, backend services, and prompt workflows, wherever the problem takes you. Learn quickly, prototype even quicker, and let customer feedback steer your iteration. Be high-agency and outcome-driven. You don't wait for permission, you find a way. Technologies We care more about strong fundamentals and fast iteration than experience with any particular tool. That said, here's what our stack looks like today: Languages & Stack: Primarily TypeScript, with Python on parts of the backend. Product engineers work full-stack across frontend, backend, and LLM integrations. LLM Integration: We work across multiple model providers and build both real-time and async workflows for retrieval, synthesis, and agentic reasoning over complex enterprise data. Tooling & DevX: CI/CD fully automated via Vercel. Agents deploy on feature branches and review everyones code. We invest in prompt iteration and observability tooling to keep experimentation cycles tight.
