Open positions include: * **Physical Therapist:** This on-site role involves patient care, including evaluations, plan of care formulation, therapeutic interventions, and patient education. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for a 1.0 Full Time new hire. Current Alabama Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech & Language Pathology licensure and BLS Certification are required. * **RN:** Registered Nurses are needed for on-site positions. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, patient education, and team leadership. Current Alabama RN Licensure is required. * **ARRT/CT:** This on-site position requires an enhanced knowledge of CT and includes responsibilities such as providing imaging services, upholding safety standards, and practicing radiation safety. Graduate of a JRCERT approved school of radiologic technology is required. * **Building Maintenance Team Leader (Electrical):** This on-site role involves leading a team in maintaining utilities, buildings, and facility equipment. A valid Alabama Driver's License and a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. * **Fay Food Service Assistant-Kitchen Sanitation/Dishwasher:** This on-site position assists in meal preparation, service, and delivery. No previous experience is required, but a High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. * **Pharmacy Technician - Retail:** This on-site position assists pharmacists, provides customer service, and handles prescription filling and cash. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent, and be registered as a technician in the State of Alabama by the start date. Must become pharmacy technician certified within 6 months from job start date of the job through pharmacy technician certification board. * **ARRT/CT:** This on-site position requires an enhanced knowledge of CT and includes responsibilities such as providing imaging services, upholding safety standards, and practicing radiation safety. Graduate of a JRCERT approved school of radiologic technology is required. * **Patient Safety Companion:** This on-site role involves observing patients, ensuring safety needs are met, and assisting with basic patient care. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider is required within 30 days of employment in Patient Safety Companion role. * **Security Behavioral Health:** This on-site role ensures the safety and security of patients, staff, visitors, and premises within the hospital's behavioral health department. Certification in crisis intervention or de-escalation techniques is preferred. * **Ultrasound Technician/RDMS:** This on-site role requires expertise in sonography/ultrasound and patient care. Must be registry eligible by the ARDMS. Should obtain certification as RDMS and RVT (RVS) within 24-months of eligibility. New hire registered sonographers must be RDMS and RVT (RVS) within 12 months of hire date. A $7,000 sign-on bonus is available for new hires only. Must have current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography or be registry eligible. 3. **What are the educational requirements for the Building Maintenance Team Leader (Electrical) position?** A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. 4. **What certifications are required for the Security Behavioral Health position?** CPR and First Aid Certification are required. State-mandated security training or licensing is also needed. 5. **Is there a sign-on bonus for the Ultrasound Technician/RDMS position?** Yes, a $7,000 sign-on bonus is available for new hires only.

Fayette Medical Center, through a lease agreement with the DCH Health System, is a 61-bed rural hospital that offers the residents of Fayette County inpatient care, along with sophisticated diagnostic equipment, surgical techniques and specialty clinics. A 122-bed nursing home on site is fully accredited and licensed for intermediate and skilled nursing care.
